YOSSI: The day has finally come! Lag Ba’omer, the Hilula of Rabbi Shimon!
YOELI: Wow look at those crowds, Yos! There must be more than 100,000 Yidden!
YOSSI: It’s absolutely true what they say; it’s like Simchas Torah outside, and Yom Kippur inside! The dancing and singing outside are like nothing I’ve ever seen! And inside the kever, Yidden are everywhere, saying Tehillim, davening, pleading, crying, like Neilah on Yom Kippur!
YOELI: You know Yos, in the song, Bar Yochai, Reb Shimon is likened to the Kohein Gadol in the Kodesh Hakodoshim!
YOSSI: And just like the Kohein Gadol was full of simchah, so too Reb Shimon’s mountain is a place full of simchah!
YOELI: This is no simple “party” Yos. This is simchah from the deepest and holiest place! What a zechus to be here!
YOSSI: I can’t get over how many Tzadikim I’ve seen here, and how many different types of Yidden. Everyone is welcome by Reb Shimon!
YOELI: Yes, Yossi. The Gemara says k’dai lismoch al R’ Shimon b’shas ha’dichak – when you need to – it’s worthwhile to rely on R’ Shimon! May he be a meilitz yosher for us and for all of Klal Yisrael!
YOSSI: Lets go Yoeli! Let’s dance!
