Thank You Hashem (tyh.org)
Effective Date: August 10, 2026
Last Updated: August 10, 2026

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how “Thank You Hashem”, doing business as “Thank You Hashem” and “TYH” (“TYH,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you visit tyh.org (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

This Policy covers tyh.org only. Our online store at shop.tyh.org is governed by a separate Privacy Policy, available at shop.tyh.org, which addresses how we handle information collected in connection with purchases.

2. Information We Collect

a. Information you provide to us directly:

  • Contact form submissions: When you use our “Connect” contact form, we collect your name, email address, the category of your inquiry (e.g., sponsorship, suggestion, donation, general inquiry, order question, wholesale/schools/camps), and the content of your message.
  • Newsletter sign-up: When you subscribe to email updates, we collect your email address.
  • Any other information you voluntarily provide when corresponding with us by email or through the Site.

b. Information collected automatically:
When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the dates/times of your visits. We use cookies, web beacons, and similar tracking technologies (including Google site-verification and analytics tools) to collect this information and to understand how visitors use the Site.

c. Information from third-party platforms:
The Site displays content from and links to third-party platforms, including an embedded social media feed (Instagram/YouTube) and WhatsApp group invitations. If you interact with these features — for example, by clicking through to join a WhatsApp group or following us on social media — you leave the Site and any information you provide is collected and governed by that third party’s own privacy policy, not this one.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form;
  • Send the email newsletter and other communications you sign up to receive;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its content;
  • Understand how visitors use the Site through analytics;
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse (including through the anti-spam field included on our sign-up forms);
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Children’s Privacy

The Site includes a “Kids” section featuring music, videos, podcasts, and downloadable activities intended to be enjoyed by children together with a parent or guardian. The Site as a whole, and all data-collection features (including the newsletter sign-up and contact form), are directed to a general, adult audience and are not intended for use by children under 13 without the involvement of a parent or guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent, consistent with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at the address below and we will promptly delete that information.

[Note to client: because the “Kids” section is content clearly directed at children, and the site-wide newsletter/contact forms currently appear on those pages without any age gate, we recommend a dedicated compliance review of the Kids section to confirm COPPA obligations are fully met — for example, by removing general data-collection forms from Kids-specific pages, or adding an appropriate age-gate/parental-consent flow.]

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, and analyze Site traffic. You can control cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Site. We may use third-party analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console) that place their own cookies and collect information about your use of the Site over time.

6. How We Share Information

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting (WP Engine or similar), email/newsletter delivery, and analytics providers, under obligations to protect your information;
  • Third parties as required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request;
  • A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets;
  • Any other party with your consent.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes without your consent.

7. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content

The Site links to and embeds content from third-party platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), and WhatsApp, and links to our online store at shop.tyh.org. These third parties may collect information about you when you interact with their content, independent of this Policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party platform you use.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Newsletter subscriber information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

9. Your Choices and Rights

  • Newsletter: You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send, or by contacting us.
  • Access/Deletion: You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you.
  • California residents: Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information below.
  • Do Not Track: The Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Visitors

TYH has visitors and community members located around the world, including in the United States, Canada, Israel, and elsewhere. If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.
