It is clear and absolute that every “small” mitzvah that a Yid does for the sake of Hashem to the best of his ability, soars on high to the spiritual worlds and has a wondrous and powerful impact in the Heavens.
Had Hashem desired only the mitzvos of the fully righteous, he would not have waited so long to give the Torah. If the Torah was only for the greatest tzadikim, he would have given it (hundreds of years prior) to Avraham, Yitzchok, and Yaakov, or he could have given it to Moshe and Yehoshua for them alone.
But Hashem did not want this, and He specifically waited until there were hundreds of thousands of Yidden, and He gave them all the Torah with love and joy. The Jewish people are only complete when every single neshama does his own part to fix what it needs to fix: every person in accordance with his own level and circumstances. Only then will the world be complete.
This is why we truly need to remind ourselves, “Bishvili Nivra Haolam, the world was created for me,” because his own role in perfecting the entire world is just like the role of the greatest tzadik of the generation, because if his part is missing, the world will be missing completion.
This is also why one who kills a Jew is considered as if he destroyed an entire world, and one who saves his life is as if he saved an entire world (Sanhedrin 37a). Every Yid is an entire world, mamish!
