Limitless Light

After all the words have been spoken and all the songs have been sung, we arrive at the profound understanding that all of creation is but a manifestation of the infinite source, the divine essence known as Hashem. As described in the Adon Olam prayer, as being with no end and no beginning, this eternal, boundless power is beyond the grasp of human language, yet it is this force that we aspire to reconnect ourselves to, in order to draw sustenance and vitality from its boundless energy.

It was Motzei first days Pesach, sitting around in OHRlando farbrenging, with the emotion of having just seen ourselves as leaving mitzrayim, when this niggun came down. Brother Mendy remarked that the energy singing and inspiration of the Yumtif was off the charts and we were all remarking that it was an experience like no other. Mendy delved into a profound concept, revealing that despite the intensifying darkness of the galut, our current state holds a unique advantage. With each passing day in exile, we draw closer to the Geulah, allowing the radiant light of the future to illuminate our present. This reflective light, known as Ohr Chozer, manifests in fleeting moments of faith, freedom, and redemption.

The Tzaddikim teach us that we stand in a pivotal era, Ikvisa D’mashicha, where the approaching footsteps of Moshiach reverberate, growing louder with each passing moment. If we remain attentive, we can discern the glimmer of Moshiach’s light illuminating our path, beckoning us towards the ultimate redemption.

אִם פָּגַע בְּךָ מְנֻוּוֹל זֶה – מׇשְׁכֵהוּ לְבֵית הַמִּדְרָשׁ

Kiddushin 30b

Inspired by Rav Yussie Zakutinsky’s teachings, the song explores the dual nature of our battle against the Yetzer Hara. We can either confront it head-on like a fearsome bulldog or simply disregard it like a pesky Chihuahua. The song advocates for the latter approach, teaching us to acknowledge the Yetzer Hara’s presence without letting it hinder our spiritual progress. We can even transform it into an ally, incorporating it into our spiritual dance.

From the depths of despair in Mitzrayim emerged a beacon of hope – not in the form of a mere messenger or an angel, but in the radiant presence of Hashem Himself. This act of divine intervention, etched into the narrative of the Hagadah, serves as a profound testament to Hashem’s unwavering commitment to His people. For the Tzaddikim, Geulas Mitrayim stands as a timeless paradigm for all future redemptions, embodying the essence of Moshiach’s arrival. They envision human history reaching its crescendo, culminating in the moment when Hashem once again descends, dispelling the darkness and ushering in the resplendent era of Moshiach.

The fear of being alone is a universal human experience. But as Rebbe Nachman teaches, overcoming this fear is a central objective of life.

The key lies in recognizing that Hashem sends a malach before us and empowers us to conquer our fears . With unwavering faith, we embark on life’s journey, knowing we are never truly alone.

“A Yid is Never Alone!” This truth transforms our fear into strength, guiding us towards a deeper connection with Hashem and ourselves.

Sometimes the deepest niggun is one without words. This song was inspired by the deepest torahs of the Holy Leshem zy”a. This niggun captures the unbridled simcha of being a yid and basking in the Ohr of tzadikim, whose lessons transcend all words …. Let’s Sing

This song was inspired by the levaya of Mikey’s Dad – Dovid Ben Shalom AH and the Dream of the Komarma that Reb Yussie shared on Rosh Hashana –

The Holy Kamarna dreamt of harsh dinim that were decreed on him.

But, no matter the dinim that he faced, he fought it with Mesiras Nefesh!

What is that Mesiras Nefesh?

Simcha!

The more Dinim the more Simcha until he was able to sweeten the judgments.

Simcha Raaaabba!

The Power of Teshuva

Teshuva – תשובה

Mendy Worch

L”N Dovid Ben Shalom A”H

דוד בן שלום ע״ה

Doing Teshuva sounds extremely daunting! To change everything about myself and stop doing the things that I’m so accustomed to doing? That sounds way too difficult to even consider.

In a foundational and life altering teaching Rav Kook teaches that we have it all wrong.

The Yetzer hara does everything in his power to get us to believe this. It’s exactly what he wants. Once we think like that he’s already won.

The actual truth is that Teshuva predates the world and it is easy! Our belief must be that Hashem is there every step of the way. He calls for us every day as He is constantly encouraging us and leading us back to Him.

Recognize that His single desire for us is to let our neshama shine bright, to just take the first step towards Him, to make a single ever so slight movement in His direction, and you will have the strength to take that leap back to your true self and back to Him.

That is the true power of Teshuva!

GOOD SHABBOS –

Mendy Worch –

Is there a greater gift than Shabbos ?!

How lucky are we that every Shabbos we get to turn off the outside world and reconnect with family and friends, with ourselves, and with our Creator.

Chazal teach us that Shabbos is the Mekor Habracha, the source of all blessing in the world. This blessing comes because on this holy day the entire world and all of Hashem’s creations are elevated to entire new levels of existence. Shabbos is Heilig and Shabbos is Lechtig!

This song reminds us to “Sing to the World, Good Shabbos”.

When we remember and cherish the priceless gifts that Shabbos brings, we can all become in-tune and hear the world singing with us “Good Shabbos”!!❤️

Rebbe Tell Me

Mendy Worch

On everyones mind is the age old question “what is the purpose of it all?”

“Why are we here and what are we supposed to be focusing on?”

We turn to our Rabbeim, our teachers, who, with the knowledge of Hashem and the Torah, can guide us to reach our potential.

They respond to us through their teachings and actions, constantly reminding us that the world stands on three pillars; Torah, Avodah(prayer),

and G’milus Chassadim(acts of kindness).

This is the tachlis of a Yid!

We are privileged to have the Torah to guide us, to have the ability to say TYH and express gratitude for all that Hashem does for us,

and especially fortunate that we have opportunities to do kindness for one another.

Holding up the world is the tachlis of a Yid!
