Rebbe Nachman of Breslov taught the importance of giving everything over to Hashem. In Sichos Haran 2, he explains that we’re meant to hand over all our actions, thoughts, and even our concerns to Him. When you do that, you stop carrying the weight of trying to figure everything out. You don’t need to second-guess yourself or constantly stress over what’s right or wrong. You’ve already placed your life in the hands of the One who knows exactly what’s best.
That shift brings real peace. So much of the anxiety we feel comes from trying to stay in control. But when you let Hashem take the wheel, you stop fighting. You learn to breathe, to trust, and to accept life as it comes. If something doesn’t go the way you hoped, you can still find calm in knowing it’s part of Hashem’s plan, and that His plan is always good.
Our friend and Rebbi, Rabbi Ari Farkas turned this teaching into a personal tefillah. It helps bring the teaching into something you can actually feel and say. Try saying it:
“I hereby give over everything to Hashem, because Hashem is good.”
Simple words, but they hold a lot of meaning. When you say them, you remind yourself that you’re not doing this alone. You’re not in charge of the world, and that’s a relief. You can stop overthinking. You can stop trying to control or fix everything. Hashem’s got it.
This way of living brings ease, even in the middle of a busy or chaotic life. You can go through the day more calmly, more focused, more open to what Hashem is guiding you toward.
Here’s the full tefillah, rooted in Rebbe Nachman’s words, and brought to life in our own lives:
@designer please design the words below with a big focus on the words, maybe so people can really meditate on them so make them large with a design to it
Master of the World, I am in Your hands |
Do with me as You wish |
May everything be according to Your Will |
For the Will of Hashem is good |
I cast upon You all my movements, thoughts, desires, words, and actions |
May everything be according to Your Will |
May we be zocheh to live with this kind of clarity and calm, knowing we are in The Best Hands.
