We’re so excited to invite you and your family to join the In Hashem We Trust initiative — a beautiful new program helping kids (and parents!) bring bitachon into everyday life.
Each week, we’ll share a short and practical bitachon lesson based on Shaar HaBitachon from Chovos HaLevavos, adapted from the amazing “My Bitachon Journal” created by our friends at Chayeinu. The journal is a hands-on, kid-friendly tool designed to help children internalize bitachon through reflection, creativity, and real-life examples. The journal guides them to think about everyday situations—like tests, friendships, or plans that don’t go their way—and discover how to respond with calm and confidence in Hashem.
To adapt these ideas into a Shabbos-friendly initiative, we turned each week’s idea into Shabbos TableTalk questions — a few thoughtful prompts to spark real conversation at your table. Each question opens the door to a family discussion that can really help you flesh out the ideas, internalize them, and apply them to your real-world lives.
And here’s a fun bonus! Each week, participants who learned the lesson and discussed the TableTalk questions will be entered into a raffle with exciting prizes. Simply email us at [email protected] after Shabbos to let us know you joined, and we’ll enter each participating child into the raffle—so be sure to include all their names!
You don’t need the My Bitachon Journal to join this program—everything you need is right here in the weekly Nekuda Tova (just be sure to print it before Shabbos if you don’t have an eruv to bring it back from Shul so you can have it at your Shabbos table)!
