Do not be overwhelmed, wondering how you can possibly achieve the loftiest levels of emunah, where you live with Ein Od Milvado to the highest degree.
Know, my dear Yid, that if you take one small step, and make one small commitment, you have already entered the world of being a baal teshuvah, of returning to Hashem with your heart and soul.
By taking one small step, you are declaring in the depth of your heart that you want only Hashem. Yes, it will take some time to grow, one step at a time, until this desire can be achieved in all of your actions. But that is just a technicality, and with your commitment, you are declaring who you truly are and Who you are committed to.
Hashem has tremendous joy and takes pride in such a Yid! The Torah was not given to the angels, and Hashem does not expect us to achieve perfection overnight.
Anyone who tries — each person on his own level — to live with Hashem more and more, and to direct his desires, pleasures, and ambitions towards Him, by understanding that there is nothing else besides Him, will merit to see the light of Hashem.
Hashem will open the gates of emunah and dveikus, and light up your world with the only true pleasure — a life of living with Hashem.
